Thrifty Wednesday

Today was a really nice day. We took off thismorning to hit the Thrift Stores in Cbus with Michelle, Amy, and the crew.
We had a fun time, let me tell you.
:D
We also got good stuff cheap!
Which is always a good thing!!
There were some EXCELLENT contenders for an ugly sweater contest. I seriously saw the WORST sweater ever. it was red an had like, a jungle cat laying across the part that would go around your neck. Yeah. AMAZING. hahahaha
I almost killed some people who were in line behind me and shoving the wheel of their stroller into my calves.
We ate at Applebees.
And we read the "Bad Girls Guide" on the way home for kicks. haha. HILARIOUS.
:)

It was a good day.

Thanks Michelle n Amy!!

Trivia Tuesday: Misc. Trivia - Answer!

What animal undertakes the world's longest migration each year?

A: Arctic Tern

Congrats Carol K. For Getting the Correct Answer!

The Arctic Tern (Sterna paradisaea) may be a small bird, but it undertakes the world's longest migration each year when it travels almost from pole to pole. After breeding in the Arctic Circle, these birds migrate during the Northern Hemisphere winter to the border of the Antarctic ice pack. The roundtrip migration is almost equal to flying all the way around the earth -- totaling approximately 21,750 miles (35,000 kilometers).

Christmas

Yup, Christmas was good
:)
We really had alot of fun getting together with family, and of course presents. haha.

Gosh I really dont know what to write about you guys. I really dont want to say like everything that I got because well, i just dont really like doing that too much. Ya know?

I do plan to hit up the After Christmas sales on monday. Plus Nathan and my Dad have some clothes to take back. Which, makes me really sad because I thought we did really good with clothes this year. Well, we didnt do that bad just some of the shirts and stuff are a little tight ya know, but at least they liked them. Well, except Nathan, he was all picky beacuse the argyle sweater we got him wasnt V-neck. What a diva. haha

But anyway yearh, I plan to hit up the sales with Sara while my Dad and Nathan are standing in long lines at JCP's
:)

We also had the mortgage burning service today at church, which was pretty sweet. We paid off the church mortgage in a year, which is pretty impressive. Although, I will have to say that the actual mortgage burning thismorning was a little anticlimactic. haha.
What are you gonna do?
The thing is paid off and thats whats important! haha

Anyway, hope you all have a nice rest of break and on into the new year!!

Trivia Tuesday: Geography Trivia - Answer!

What is Earth's largest continent?

A: Asia!

Currently, Asia is Earth's largest continent at approximately 17,300,000 square miles (44,806,812 sq km). Africa comes in second at about 11,700,000 square miles (30,300,000 sq km). However, Continental Drift Theory suggests that the continents have moved over the years through the process of plate tectonics. Many geologists believe that, during the Mesozoic era, all of the continents combined to form a supercontinent known as Pangaea which would have dwarfed the largest continent today. It is believed that Pangaea began to break up about 200 million years ago.
