Today

 Today i felt so good, like the best Ive been in a LONG time. I went to take a late nap yesterday at like 6 and I ended up sleeping till 6am thismorning. My parents said i was sleeping like a log so they just left me alone. I got up at 6am n took a shower n went back to bed till 7am. and let me tell you. i felt amazing when i got up n all day afterward. I just feel so rested n energized. I needed that 12 hr nap. Ive been so busy lately its been going to bed late n getting up early even on the weekends. So yeah today was great. It was so funny because I washed my hair at 6am n i didn't dry it i just wrapped a towel around it n lay ed back down so i was laying with my towel on my head. ha ha. My dad asked me what I was doing with that on my head. ha

We also had Amish Doughnuts n coffee/milk in Art because Mr. E made a bet with us at the Student vs. Teacher Basketball game that if the students win he would get us doughnuts n stuff n if teachers won we'd get him a dinner. we won. YES ha ha

So yeah all in all was a really really good day.

So here are my poems from the Arts Festival as promised. Ill post them seperately though. enjoy ;)

CUPCAKES!

So today KD, Justin, AShley, n I baked some chocolate cupcakes in Mrs. R class. It was really fun. We didnt have any eggs or milk so we looked online to find a recipe that you didnt need milk etc to use. So we found one n it turned out pretty well I have to say. We TRIED to make icing using their recipe too but it wouldnt set up AT ALL. So we ended up pouring it down the drain. EEK! We didnt know how many cupcakes the recipe made and it turned out it was A TON. We made 24 cupcakes today n still have batter for another batch tomorrow.

I love our Julia Childs moments :)

Also today. Mr. M's lesson on Spartan Love. Amazing. I love him. He's really funny and makes things interesting. No wonder hes gotten favorite teacher for years!

In conclusion, today was a pretty good day

Wreck this Journal

So on Friday in Creative Writing Mrs. C gave us our Wreck the Journals*. Everyone was stoked out of their minds n we started doing it right away.  I did some of it over the weekend too.


Well we got to Creative Writing today and I asked her if we were going to do the WTJ in a certain format or she was just turning us lose on it. She told the class that basically we could do whatever we wanted with it. She wasn't going to use it as a lesson/she wasn't taking a grade or collecting it. And she told us that it really has nothing to do with creative writing and I kind of agree with her you don't have to write anything but i mean u could at least take a participation grade or something. Mrs. E the last Creative Writing/College Reading teacher used it very well and everyone loved it. We even suggested Mrs. C talk to Mrs. E and see exactly what she did etc. But she said shes not and basically shes doing nothing with the journal's she just gave them to us. Most of the kids in my class were looking forward to them all year and doing activities etc. Oh well. I still think its a shame/waste of time.

Needless to say just about everyone is mad at Mrs. C
-Kevin even Ripped his book in 2 and threw it away - intense.
